At this point, if Apple is now making bold moves like this, maybe other crazy things like DeX on iPhone will happen after all? Even if it is nothing more than Stage Manager and not macOS (which I consider less likely but also highly wished for by yours truly!), that’s exactly what we want!
Looks like I will actually have to turn on RCS on my Android phone at some point next year.
(Enabling RCS on Google Fi requires disabling their ‘message sync’ feature which lets me call and text from any web browser - this feature has been more important than RCS so far because literally nobody I message with uses Android.)
