Solid primer on the various display types in our devices

Definitely more than a bit simplistic and slightly biased (it’s obvious she’s an OLED fan) but nonetheless, she get’s most of the basics right, including most importantly IMHO that this is not a one size fits all scenario.

With the caveat that she’s way to ready to generalize. such as this " * IPS delivers richer, wider color gamuts than rivals, particularly TN." That’s actually only true if you remove price as a factor. In other words, a VA display can have a very wide color gamut as well (we use one in one of our custom devices) but they end up actually costing more than a comparably sized IPS display (though VA panels have some other advantages such as less shift with temperature changes)
