@CrazyCat That’s one of the things that I intend to ask our Samsung rep when we see him next. Setting aside the size difference, the Tab S7FE has at least equal and likely better specs generally. And while it’s not UFS4, the storage in the FE is quite fast.

Not to mention that the FE has one of the best LCDSs we tested last year.

And just to confuse things, there are rumors of a new FE as well, but in 11 inch size???

Guess it’s a bad time to say I just discovered today that I could add an education discount to my purchase and make it even cheaper…

The student discount offers a free Galaxy Tab A thrown in - which could be a useful trade-in resource if I needed another Galaxy Tab S series in the near future.
Just have to wait 24 hours for my education account to be re-verified.
