Since it looks like this is going to be a good one, let’s give the 2023 X1 Yoga 8th gen its own thread. Specs and image from xda-developers.

The X1 Yoga 8th gen is available to order. Maxed out but still with standard warranty I get the low low total of $5846. Then again 64GB RAM is kind of nice. :vb-grin:

Sooo… is anybody here even considering this system? Or did I kill all interest by listing the price of a fully loaded model? :sweat_smile:

RAM is soldered no? And no dGPU for that price?

As usual, EMR would make me ignore many other issues, but it doesn’t have it so that’s that.

Yes, soldered, and there are no models with dGPU. The lowest end model (16GB/256GB, 400nits IPS screen, no LTE) is currently listed at $3k, which even with the occasional 40% discount would still be $1800 for a pretty basic system. Not sure what they’re thinking here in terms of pricing.
