I have had a Boox Color Nova 3 for over a year now (nearly 2). It is, by far, the best writing experience on any of my note-takers and the absolute worst tablet experience of my devices. I have religated it to certain note-taking functions like interviews and document reviews, where I will be taking lengthy notes. Smaller notes are done on the Note 10 and annotations on the Pro X. The boox is too slow and ghosting is an issue when trying to mark-up a PDF. It is a shame too, as its size, battery life and portability would make it perfect in this role. So, e-ink is far from being an acceptable replacement for IPA-LED, mini-LED or OLED displays.
