This has huge potential IMHO on the order of the leap forward that Core I was. The briefs I’ve been part of show tons of potential albeit with the requirement of a fundamental rethink of some design paradigms

Agreed, but that undersells how fundamental an improvement it could be. And on the negative side, much was said about Optane, and we now know how badly Intel botched that.
It would be great to be able to use more powerful CPUs in fanless tablets without throttling.
