Anyone remember GeoWorks Ensemble and the pen tablets it ran on?

Apparently it was opensourced:

If that includes the pen support and handwriting recognition and there’s a viable web browser and internal development environment (Python w/ support for Motif would be fine), my inclination is to get off the upgrade treadmill and get a machine running that.

I liked it at the time though it had security holes you could drive a truck through. I’m assuming they have fixed those in this release
