Microsoft's "USB Cart Of Death"

We have heard that this exists(ed) but have never seen it.

It’s an interesting idea/experiment, but I wonder given Windows still to this day less than IMHO robust plug and play support, if this was intended as a genuine test or just a way to mess with developers or perhaps both?

Regardless it makes our “USB Millenium Falcon” USB test device look incredibly tame by comparison, though the initial results of a BSOD is something we have in common with MS device.
