Physical controls, automation/enhancement, and preference aside, from my experience the main issue with smartphone cameras is the extremes of light.
They are of course a challenge for any camera, but the small sensors really do make it harder.

It’s so nice being tone deaf and semi-color blind - most everything sounds and looks better than it really is…
So speaking of iPhone camera tech. These two articles seem to at least partially contradict each other as to the next iPhone cameras. A good reminder to always treat these announcements with at least some skepticism.
OTOH they could be splitting suppliers with the Pros getting the Sony chips and the standard getting the LG
And sloppy overall reporting in the Verge’s article as it implies multiple things but doesn’t convincingly follow through on any assertion.

PS: I suspect that the LG parts will end up mostly in Android phones other than Samsung
