I don’t think it matters what MS names the 2024 version of Windows - it only matters that it is fine tuned for ARM and not just “more AI everywhere.” If it is the former, the Windows OEM (and I include MS in that) have an incredible variety of 2-in-1 designs, and Oryon could usher in a new era of possibilities. However, if it’s the later, shame on MS…
The form-factor I really want to see experimented with is dual-screen machines such as the Lenovo Yogabook 9i.
I am skeptical and expect the latter. There’s only so much “fine-tuning” that can be done on an existing OS.
My hunch is Arm users will be waiting until 2025 for a ground up OS.
