Wonder how long it will be until this feature is “deprecated”?

Well,

  1. Language preservation doesn’t rely on one option
  2. Microsoft aren’t Google
  3. Even Google have contributed involvement in language preservation projects
  4. Apps and services may go down, but that doesn’t mean everything is lost
  5. Microsoft have also been working on language preservation for some time now (there were even a series of Bing videos/adverts on it)

So I’m not sure the snark is needed.
