"Blackberry" The Film

I personally am looking forward to seeing this film for a couple of reasons. One is my personal affection for the Blackberry devices of which I was a fairly early adopter and it’s not overstatement to say that it changed the way I work.

Second is that I think they are greatly underappreciated for their role and innovation in the early days of what would become “smartphones”. Even among the iPhone and Galaxy toting crowd, if they have seen one it’s likely “something my dad used to use”.

Yes, their history is quite fascinating.

I’d like to see something about Nokia too. How two giants fell like that is fascinating.

I’ve read a couple of books about Symbian, which was very interesting.
