Just seeing if anyone here is involved in AR?
I’m basically dragged into this realm, which I find completely fascinating. But also wondering how much “solution looking for a problem” there is?
I also wonder a lot about the impact this will have on screen-based technology in the future. Will it turn out to be an accessory similar to smartwatches, or could it be an all out replacement?
I will say, having made AR apps using tablets as a viewer, there are intriguing possibilities. And having evaluated headwear, the hardware has a long long way to go.
