This is another intriguing development. This will produce the fastest Chromebooks you can buy. But I wonder what sliver of the Chromebook market has performance even in their top 5 list of requirements.
OTOH I if I was a chrome OS and/or Web app developer, I"d want one.
BTW: As an aside, Googles own implementation of their version of trusted boot is the reason you can’t take just any old X86 architecture device and make it a Chromebook. Not to mention that the qualification process is both strict and comprehensive
